OVERVIEW

Psychotherapist Hal Raglan uses unconventional techniques at the Somafree Institute. He gives it the name "psychoplasmics", where patients' traumatic memories exert a physiolgical change to their bodies.

Nola Carveth is a patient undergoing Raglan's strange therapies. She is a severely disturbed woman who is battling with her husband, Frank, over the custody of their child, Candice. After Frank discovers scratches and bruises on Candice following a visit with Nola, he accosts Raglan and tells him of his intentions to stop Candice visiting with his wife. Raglan decides to intensify the sessions with Nola so that any issues are resolved quickly. Strange events then unfold, and Frank believes that Raglan's techniques are somehow to blame.
