OVERVIEW

Newly weds George and Kathy Lutz believe that they have found the dream home in which to raise their three children. After being told the full terrible history of what went on in the house by the real estate company they still decide to buy it, with George saying that "Houses don't have memories".

When events around the house lead them to believe that the house is haunted, they go to the family priest Father Delaney who comes to the conclusion that the house is in the possession of an evil spirit. He performs an exorcism but it makes him ill, so they have to turn to another priest. Can the house be expunged of its evil?
