OVERVIEW

Carol is a young manicurist from Belgium living in a London apartment with her sister Helen. Carol suffers from the condition of androphobia (the fear of men) and finds interacting or even the mentionioning of males repulsive. It is suggested that the reason for her condition lies with suffering some sort of childhood trauma.

When Helen goes on vacation with her boyfriend, Carol is forced to withdraw deeper inside herself. What was once a simple phobia now becomes an overwhelming psychosis. She suffers from hallucinations and even an imaginary attacker. When someone comes to the apartment, they do not get the welcome they bargained for.
